Remote Grant Writer Volunteer


Your excellent writing and communication skills will help us articulate our vision and mission to potential funders, foundations, and donors.

FarmSahel is seeking a volunteer who wants to make a difference by using their writing and research skills for the good cause of helping women farmers in Burkina Faso.

 

Volunteer Grant Writer duties and responsibilities:

  • Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
  • Draft grant proposals based on the funding requirements of the organization.
  • Submit proposals to the Executive Director for approval.
  • Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.


Skills:

  • Excellent research and communication skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Creative and innovative approaches to winning grants.


We are looking for someone who can commit to 10 hours a week. This can be a long-term opportunity.


The right candidate is a college student looking to build a career in grant writing, a retired experienced grant writer looking to spend his/her spare time volunteering.
