Remote Social Media & Marketing Volunteer


We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media & Marketing Volunteer to help us amplify our message, engage our audience, and increase awareness of our cause.

FarmSahel is looking for someone who has interest and experience with social media to volunteer remotely for 10-25 hours a month. 


The following are helpful but not required:

Proficiency with Canva, a knack for storytelling and communications; experience managing the following social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube.


Tasks May Include:

  • Compiling and posting updates and pictures on FarmSahel's various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. This may include minor photo editing.
  • Thinking creatively on how to generate excitement and enthusiasm about all things related to FarmSahel.
  • Responding to inquiries via our social media platforms and directing questions to the right FarmSahel staff members.
  • Supporting social media based fundraising events such as #GivingTuesday and promoting other kinds of events.
  • Creating graphics to attract attention to posts.
  • Other minor tasks related to social media.

Note:
